Atchutapuram Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a rapidly developing industrial hub near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The region within a 100 km radius, largely centered around Visakhapatnam city and its industrial belt, is characterized by a diverse and growing industrial landscape. Its coastal location with major ports (Visakhapatnam Port, Gangavaram Port) provides excellent connectivity for exports and imports, attracting industries that rely on raw material imports or finished goods exports. While historically known for heavy industries, the region is diversifying into various sectors, creating a more robust and resilient economy
The Visakhapatnam region, including Atchutapuram, is envisioned by the Andhra Pradesh government as a major economic growth engine.
